To ensure a long-term durability and performance, EV batteries are also equipped with electronic components and sensors. Further, they are highly sensitive to the presence of electricity. With the help of these systems, EVs are now more affordable for consumers. The only problem is that they may require a lot of downtime while charging. Therefore, EVs will likely stay in a non-revenue-generating status longer than conventional gas-powered vehicles.
