Sports parks, games for kids and fun by the lake! Oh my!

Options for outdoor sports and recreation are plentiful in and around Tyler, Texas. The area offers a range of activities for the little ones up to the little ones’ grandparents.

Sports parks: If there is something that Tyler does not lack in his sports parks and baseball fields. No matter where you are in the city, there are playgrounds close to you.

· Fun Forest Park: This truly has something for everyone with picnic areas, shelter / pavilion, restrooms, baseball / softball fields, tennis courts, playground, basketball court, and a lap pool. · Noble E. Young park: Here you will find a skate park as a main feature, where the young – and the young at heart – strut their stuff on skateboards, BMX bikes, and anything else with wheels. This park also has a playground for children, walking and biking trails, and basketball courts.

There are dozens more parks in Tyler, Texas that offer a variety of activities, from simple like having a picnic to organized sports fields, several with soccer fields as well. · lake Palestine: Five public boat launches provide access to Lake Palestina. More than a dozen marinas, motels, and private campgrounds offer additional ramps and other services such as boat gasoline, fish cleaning, bait, supplies, and restrooms.

No matter what you like to do outside, in addition to playing in the snow, you will find outdoor fun in and around Tyler that everyone in your family can and will enjoy. You will definitely want to explore a bit more to learn about other places in the area.
