New Super Mario Bros. Wii now available
The highly anticipated New Super Mario Bros Wii will be released on November 15, 2009. The game that made the Nintendo Entertainment System soar in popularity is back on the Nintendo Wii. The original Super Mario Bros. The game came bundled with the NES along with Duck Hunt and became the face of Nintendo, and for good reason. This side scrolling game revolutionized the gaming industry and set the standard for new games alike.
Have you ever wondered what it would be like if you could play the original Super Mario Bros.? like a multiplayer game in real time? Well now the time has come! Now, with the latest in gaming technology, Nintendo has created New Super Mario Bros. Wii, a real-time multiplayer game! Players can now navigate the game solo or play with up to three others to join them at the same time at any point in the game for incredible multiplayer fun.
Here are some of the game features listed in the game description:
* Offers a combination of cooperation and competition. Players can pick each other up to save them from danger or throw them off.
* Mario(TM), Luigi(TM) and two Toads are all playable characters, while many others from the Mushroom Kingdom appear throughout the game. Players can even ride different Yoshi characters and use Yoshi’s tongue to swallow enemies, objects, and even fireballs.
* In some areas, players use the movement abilities of the Wii Remote(TM) controller. The first player to reach a seesaw can have it lean to help their character reach a higher platform, or can have it lean incorrectly just to annoy other players.
* New items include the Propeller Suit, which will shoot players into the sky just by waving the Wii Remote, and Mario’s new ability to transform into Penguin Mario.
* At the end of each stage during coin battle multiplayer, players are ranked based on the number of coins they have collected.
With the ability for simultaneous multiplayer play, this new addition to the Mario Brothers franchise will make a great Wii family game as well as a great Wii party game. I can’t wait to get my hands on this game on November 15, 2009.
