Moose and Circle of Death

Today I want to talk to you about two games, one a classic and the other a new game that has made me fall in love. The games I’ll be talking about are Circle of Death and Moose.

circle of death

Circle of Death is a card game that you play with a minimum of 2 players and the number of players is unlimited, but it’s better when the players stay consistent so that the people playing really get drunk. The game begins by forming a circle with the cards and the circle must be interconnected. Then each player draws a card and must do what is predetermined by the players. Below I will include a list of what I have considered to be the rules of the Circle of Death.

1-6 For the red cards you give and the black ones you take.

7- Social, everyone has a drink

8- I never

9- Rhyme, the first person who cannot rhyme with the word or says repeat must drink

10-Rule, create a rule that everyone must do in the game or must drink

Jack-Back, the order of play is reversed

Queen – You become the master of questions, all the people you talk to must answer you in the form of a question or they must drink.

King – Create a category and the person who cannot find an item in the category must drink

Ace: This is the cascade card, the person who drew the card starts drinking and the rest of the players start drinking in the order of the circle and continue drinking until the player in front of them finishes drinking.

This game is a great way to start the night and is a classic because many people can play and get their drink!

I raised

The next game I’m going to talk about is quite new to me, it’s called Moose. For this game you will need:

A large amount of alcohol, preferably a barrel.

an ice tray

quarter

everyone should also have their own drinking glasses (obviously)

The object of the game is to bounce the coin off the table and place it on the tray. If you bounce it in the first 5 slots on the tray, you get 2-10 drinks, depending on which one you made. The same applies to the right side, but instead of handing out drinks, you have to grab the drinks yourself and pass them around on the tray. Now comes the fun part. If you make it to the last two slots, regardless of which side you land on, you’re a moose. Everyone must yell moose and put their hands next to their heads to make antlers. The last person to do this is the moose. What the moose must do is drink until the quarter that is spinning on the table is finished spinning, and the moose must get the beer for everyone at the table. One option for the moose is to make them wear a silly hat to distinguish them from a normal player. The moose will remain a moose until the same seriousness occurs and a new moose is judged.

Another twist to this game is that you can bounce the coin into someone’s beer, forcing them to drink the rest of their beer, this can be done at any time by anyone who has the coin. It’s a good idea to have a smaller mug because it’s no fun having to drink a huge beer because of a big bounce…

Another twist is that if you flip it over and it bounces off the tray and gets stuck on the tray crossbars or doesn’t touch the bottom of the bucket holes, it’s called a schanagan. What happens at this point is that the player must lose an item of clothing and also lose their turn.

The last rule of this game is to be able to make a rule. A player can make a rule if he hits the layup 3 times in a row during a single turn. Everyone must follow this rule throughout the game because rules can only be overridden by other rules.

Try one of these games at your next party if you haven’t already. You will have a great time and the rest of the party too!
