Set primarily in the resort city of Pattaya, located on the eastern shore of the Gulf of Siam in southern Thailand, the stories contained in the Money Number One book series and its corresponding sequels and additions vary in length and subject matter, but are all for him for the most part based on actual instances and events compiled over the years from Neil’s own personal experiences and those of others, whether relayed to Neil or told in person at one of the many bars and venues that frequents to carry out his somewhat clandestine research.
