Is the Cricut Expression the best Christmas gift for your mom?
This Christmas is going to be a little better than the last. Last year the economy was worse and now things seem to be slowly picking up. The wage increase freeze is gone on most jobs and we now have a little more money to buy gifts.
That’s why I wanted to go all out for Christmas and buy my mom something really special. She has always worked with arts and crafts for as long as I can remember. And last week she mentioned seeing a product called Cricut on TV.
I did some research and found that it is a cutting machine that can be independent of a computer. Interestingly, after looking it up on the computer, that night I saw the commercial for the first time.
It actually looks a lot like a computer printer because of the shape. However, the Cricut has more controls and features than a regular printer.
This product seems to be a good choice for my mom and similar people who have an interest or hobby with arts and crafts. The machine cuts paper, vinyl, and some other materials in just a few steps. From what I’ve seen it also etches glass which is actually very clean.
The only thing I’m considering right now is whether or not to give it to my mom ahead of time. He usually does some sort of Christmas decoration and this gadget would be perfect for that. Then again, waiting might make it more worthwhile.
