How to do facade tarot readings

For an aspiring Tarot card reader, the process of learning to do readings can seem quite overwhelming. However, fear not! The way to become a successful tarot card reader is not as difficult as it may seem at first glance. Although there are numerous books and resources on how to do Facade Tarot Readings using tarot cards, the basic method is quite simple.

Bonding

Many experts suggest building a close bond with a new deck of Tarot cards. This can be achieved in many ways: sleeping with the Façade Tarot deck close to the heart or the pillow, for example. Doing this over a number of nights will bring about an attunement to the deck that will aid your playing in the future. Another way to bond with your tarot deck is to meditate with the deck for a few minutes a day. Be careful not to let others tamper with your rig once it’s properly tuned in, as it may break the link you’ve worked to create. However, it is acceptable for others to shuffle and cut the deck, and this will not affect one’s bond.

Preparation

To stimulate creativity and positive energy, it is important to create a suitable atmosphere. Soft candles or incense can create an atmosphere that will relax the mind. Specific colored candles can also be used to improve results:

  • Blue: healing, soothing
  • Purple: enhances dreams.
  • Green: wealth
  • Black: cancellation of negative energies

Soothing, relaxing music can be played to help the Facade Tarot reader concentrate, but loud music and other distractions should be avoided. In particular, heavy electronics and electronic devices should be turned off so that they do not interfere with the innate energies of the tarot deck.

Divination and interpretation

When you are ready to begin the divination, first focus on the question being asked. Visualize your question (or if you’re reading for someone else, ask him to visualize your question). Shuffle the deck as you consider the question in your mind. Ask the question out loud as you cut through the shuffled deck and then deal four diamond-shaped cards (like a baseball diamond).

Things to consider:

Orientation: The cards from the right side up contain positive energies. Upside down cards reverse the meaning of that particular card and are negatively affected.

Position: the position of the cards on the diamond correlates with:

  • First card dealt (top of diamond): love life
  • Second card dealt (right point): financial health
  • Third card dealt (bottom of diamond): aptitude and satisfaction
  • Fourth card dealt (left dot): work life
