Existence of God – Facts and Figures – Does God exist?
If you are a theist… you already believe in the Existence of God! If you are an atheist… you expect clues that prove scientifically or otherwise the existence of God.
Both theories are correct. It’s just saying that the glass is half full and the other half empty! The belief in the Existence of God arises from an extreme faith in the system of Almighty Creator God. Being at the highest level of manifestation…human beings understand that nothing is created on its own.
If we believe in the fact that the entire cosmos is God’s creation, then we believe in the assumption that “God does exist.” Conversely, atheists want proof of the Existence of God. According to the beliefs of Jainism, there is no Existence of God and they do not believe in the existence of a Creator. According to Jainism, the Cosmos has existed since time immemorial.
Believing in the Existence of God is like believing in the existence of a flower. Although a flower may not be directly visible to us but we can feel its presence by the fragrance it emits… God also exists but we cannot see it due to the limitations of the senses. God Almighty is beyond the capture of the senses and the mind.
Why is it that strong non-believers of God tend to believe in God the moment they face abnormal adversities in life? The sweet little voice that seems to come from inside the body… the voice of our Soul (inner Atman)… isn’t God in his minuscule form guiding us always and forever? Does it not confirm the Existence of God in its entirety?
Why do we need more proofs regarding the Existence of God? The movement of the stars, the planets and the cosmic system as a whole… is it not governed by the invisible hands of God Almighty Creator of the Cosmos?
Bhagavad Gita… the holiest of all scriptures existing on Mother Earth confirms the existence of Almighty God. As narrated in the Bhagavad Gita… Almighty God explains the reasons for the explosion of the self… the beginning of the journey of the various souls (Atmans)… and the creation of the Cosmos itself.
If there were no God the Almighty Creator… then the concept of the big bang theory itself would have failed prematurely. No God… no big bang theory… no creation of the Cosmos and there would never have been a solar system or our Mother Earth and even us.
If we do not believe in the Existence of God it is because the senses and the mind are incapable of giving a logistical end to our arguments… we need to believe in the fact that Almighty Creator God is not the form of God. a human being… nor does he have any other form whatsoever.
God the Almighty Creator has to be a gaseous formation! Seen from the angle of the senses and the mind, we perceive that the entire cosmos is made of solid matter and it is this assumption that does not allow us to look beyond the limitations of the senses and the mind.
If we are to believe in the Existence of God… we must remember that the entire cosmos is made up of the basic building blocks of nature… atoms and molecules. And beyond the groups of atoms and molecules, nothing else exists in the entire Cosmos, except the Ether, which represents the empty black space in the Cosmos.
Whatever the form of God… is definitely in the form of energy and that is also pure energy. It is another thing that during the time of the big bang… this cluster of pure energy that we know as God (the combined power of all purified Atmans souls in their pristine state is what we know as Almighty Creator God) is dispersed all over the world. Cosmos.
All souls begin their cosmic journey of 8.4 million manifestations and it is at the end of the cosmic life that the Soul (Atman) returns to its pristine pure form. At the time of the dissolution of the Cosmos, all these purified souls combine to form what we know as Almighty Creator God.
We may not believe in the fact that God has no power to create… but not believing in the Existence of God would be an anomaly. All of God’s creation is like a powerful computer that works with a system of predefined parameters. As you act, you will get… no more, no less! As we pray… be satisfied with the results of the prayers!
Sinners cannot expect to earn Punya Karma (positive balance of Karma) and those who indulge in pious acts do not seem to face the wrath of God most of the time. Everything in the cosmic system is balanced. We may or may not believe in the Existence of God… our journey of life continues unabated.
As we cannot see the smell of a flower but we believe the fact after seeing the flower…we do not and cannot expect to see God with the limitations of the senses and the mind. Only when one reaches the stage of Nirvikalpa samadhi can one come face to face with God Almighty.
It is this stage of Nirvikalpa samadhi that confirms the Existence of God. Every enlightened soul like Mahavira, Gautama Buddha, Jesus Christ or Prophet Muhammad never had any doubts about the Existence of God (it is another thing that the moment they became enlightened they were able to perceive the truth in its entirety!
All anomalies cease to exist the moment one realizes God…all doubts about the Existence of God come to an end the moment one becomes enlightened. One may or may not believe in the existence of God, but the fact is that “God does exist.”
