Become A Video Game Tester: Why Game Testing Is The Best Job
Whether you’re a teenager or an adult, the best job has to be playing video games and getting paid a lot of money. Many people look the other way and say that these are a bunch of scams and you never get the money, but let me assure you first hand that they are not scams and you can get paid. Now sure 80% of them are scams but the other 20% are not and that is where the big fish is hiding. It can be a game tester for almost any console and yes even PC games which are the most tested.
Who pays me to try video games?
Companies that need your opinion about their new or even beta video games. A great example is Halo 3 which is on Xbox 360 and Haze which is on Ps3. Before releasing Halo 3 to the public, Microsoft had thousands of game testers try it out and comment on what should be changed, etc. While Sony didn’t ask gamers to try their game and what ended up happening is that Haze was a flop (nobody bought it because it wasn’t a very good game and the ratings went from 4 to 6), but a Halo 3 was a huge hit and bought over a billion times! That’s 1/6 of the world.
How can I find real game testing opportunities?
Well, the best way to do it is like me, ask and eventually you’ll be pointed in the right direction and you’ll land on the top 20% of sites I talked about above.
