Research shows that the number one reason people use the Internet is for information, whether it’s to check the weather, sports scores, news, or to find specific information on a specific topic. I guess that’s why they call it the information superhighway! According to data from 2008, worldwide there are 1,574,313,184 Internet users. This number has increased by 336.1% between 2000 and 2008. Are you worried that you have missed the boat in this new era? This figure of 1,574,313,184 is only 23.5% of the population.
Enough statistics: what it means is that there are many people looking for information and there will be many more in the future! There is no reason to recreate the wheel: if people want information, then give them information. There has not been another time in history when “ordinary people” could harness this “new age” power and literally change their lives, overnight.
