21st century career

Are you looking to start your own business? Are you tired of building a business for someone else? Do you have a burning desire to live life on your own terms? Me too…

Hello, I know how you feel. Trapped, manipulated, and taken for granted by people who are primarily focused solely on their own careers. Mentally, it’s a terrible place to be.

However, there is a better way! Unfortunately, it took me several years to realize that the industrial age is over. The global economy and technological advances have basically eliminated middle class jobs. Don’t believe me… Take a second and consider how many jobs, from your community, have relocated to some third world country. How many of your friends have lost a job because they were replaced by a machine? Although this transformation process may initially impact us negatively, it can also be a blessing in disguise.

Change means opportunity. Welcome to the 21st century: the information age. According to wikipedia.org, the information age, also commonly known as the computer age or the information age, is an idea that the current age will be characterized by people’s ability to freely transfer information and access Instant access to knowledge that you would have previously been difficult or impossible to find. The idea is strongly linked to the concept of the Digital Age or Digital Revolution, and entails the ramifications of a change from traditional industry brought about by the Industrial Revolution through industrialization, to an economy based on the manipulation of information. The period is generally said to have started within the 10 years of the 1990s with the development of the Internet seen as a key part of this change.

Research shows that the number one reason people use the Internet is for information, whether it’s to check the weather, sports scores, news, or to find specific information on a specific topic. I guess that’s why they call it the information superhighway! According to data from 2008, worldwide there are 1,574,313,184 Internet users. This number has increased by 336.1% between 2000 and 2008. Are you worried that you have missed the boat in this new era? This figure of 1,574,313,184 is only 23.5% of the population.

Enough statistics: what it means is that there are many people looking for information and there will be many more in the future! There is no reason to recreate the wheel: if people want information, then give them information. There has not been another time in history when “ordinary people” could harness this “new age” power and literally change their lives, overnight.

If you’re no longer satisfied with your rung on the corporate ladder, now you have an alternative. And I don’t mean just changing ladders! We have developed a step-by-step guide that will allow you to successfully make this transition. It has been specifically designed for beginners; with limited experience required. If you are tired of the daily grind associated with your current career, you should investigate new and exciting opportunities.

Sincerely,

Bill Balou, MBA
